AN INDOOR CEREMONY AND RECEPTION AT CRUISEPORT GLOUCESTER
Rachel and Colby’s wedding day was the perfect blend of unique sentiment, seaside charm, and an absolute party. They began their morning separately at the beautiful Beauport Hotel, getting ready with their closest crew before their first look and trolley ride to waterfront portraits — truly the sunniest, nicest day!
Arriving at Cruiseport, they were welcomed by the sounds of a live bagpiper before slipping away for a quiet moment together. The ceremony that followed was filled with personal touches, including readings from their parents' weddings, a best friend as an officiant, and emotional, handwritten vows that had the whole room tearing up.
During cocktail hour downstairs, guests enjoyed New England seafood, delicious cocktails, and took in a thoughtful display featuring photos and stories of the couple’s loved ones. From there, the night turned into a full-on celebration. Instead of a traditional seating chart, each guest received a handwritten note as they found their seat numbers. Rachel, true to her own wedding tradition, did a full split on the dance floor (iconic) and later jumped onstage with Colby to play “Piano Man” with the band on harmonicas.
Every detail was uniquely them — a perfect reflection of their friendship, love and incredibly positive energy!
